I know you are pissed. You wanted my job so badly. You worked so hard for it. Put in extra hours, never called off, know the policies inside and out, brought in VIP clients to the firm. You did everything right, except that you aren’t the Boss’s daughter and I am. When I heard how much of a go-getter you are I just had to have you as my Assistant! Sure it is a downgrade in position but I am sure you will love it. You get to look after me, that is a god damned honor!
Every day you come in with an attitude. It makes me laugh actually. I was going to give you a huge raise. One that would put you on par with some of the top people at the firm, but now I’m not too sure I should. I think I will have to have a talk with you. I have an image to uphold and having some pissed off baby in front of my office with a scowl on their face isn’t cutting it. Yes, I think that is just what I will do. Call you in here and give you an attitude adjustment. I mean I really do not need you, I want you as my assistant. There is a very clear difference between need and want, and perhaps after our little chat, you will recognize the difference as well. Let’s just hope you still after your job afterward.
